FAQ

Common Questions

What's the difference between 'certified' and 'legal' translation? +

Certified translation is an umbrella term for official translation accepted by authorities — often for personal documents (passport, birth cert, diplomas). Legal translation is a subset focused on contracts, court filings and corporate law documents. Both require MOJ-sworn translators in the UAE. We do both.

Do I need to apostille my document BEFORE translation? +

For UAE residency / family visa use — yes, almost always. The ORIGINAL must be apostilled (Hague countries) or embassy-attested (non-Hague) in the country of issue BEFORE we translate. Translate-first = GDRFA rejects it. Send a photo of the document and we map the exact attestation path for your country.

How fast is certified translation? +

Standard documents (1–3 pages): 24 hours. Rush service: 4–6 hours with a surcharge. For visa deadlines, we work evenings and weekends — WhatsApp +971 2 562 0022 with your deadline.

Will MoFA stamp my translation? +

If needed, yes — we coordinate MoFA attestation for your translation. For most domestic UAE uses the MOJ-sworn stamp is enough, but for cross-border use or some visa categories MoFA is required. We tell you before charging.

Which personal documents do you translate? +

Passports, national IDs, birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates, academic diplomas, transcripts, police clearance, medical reports, employment contracts, bank statements, driving licenses — everything required for UAE visa, school, bank, employment and license applications.

What is the price per page? +

From AED 60 per page for most documents. Some complex documents (medical, financial statements with tables) may be quoted slightly higher. Bulk discounts for 10+ pages. Fixed quote in 10 minutes.
