Biography
Dr. Hani Elimam has spent the last two decades working at the highest levels of language services in the United Arab Emirates and abroad. His path is unusual: an academic with a PhD, a practitioner who interprets in real-time at conferences and courts, and an entrepreneur who built one of the most respected translation offices in Abu Dhabi.
Educated at the American University of Sharjah's Interpreting and Translation program, where he later returned as Assistant to Professor in the same program, Dr. Elimam holds a Master's in Interpreting and Translation from AUS, a Master's in Construction Law and Disputes Resolution from the British University in Dubai, and a PhD in Language and Management.
His professional accreditation by the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) places him among a small global elite — fewer than 3,000 interpreters worldwide hold AIIC membership. AIIC accreditation requires years of paid conference experience plus sponsor votes from existing members, and it is the global gold standard for simultaneous interpretation.
Dr. Elimam is also a Sworn Legal Translator certified by the UAE Ministry of Justice — meaning every translation he or his MOJ-sworn team produces carries the legal weight required by UAE federal and local courts, embassies, ministries, and government authorities.
