A notary will not redraft a vague POA, correct a translation, or notice a name spelled differently from your Emirates ID. Because we prepare the file and arrange the notarisation with our legal partner, those are caught before the appointment, when they cost minutes instead of days.
Dubai Courts requires non-Arabic documents to carry a legal translation certified by the UAE Ministry of Justice, and ADJD requires a certified translator with licence card, except at its English Notary Services Bureau. We prepare the version your notary accepts.
If the notarised document is going abroad, the UAE has no apostille: it continues to MOFA and the destination embassy. We plan the translation and attestation into the same file from day one.

Yes. SWLT is a legal translation company, and we work with our legal partner, a law firm in DIFC, Dubai, which handles the notarisation before the Notary Public. We draft and translate your document and check it against your IDs; the notarisation is then completed online where the transaction allows it, or in person at their office or ours.

If your case must go through a specific authority, such as Dubai Courts or the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, we tell you when you send your document and prepare the file for that route. Usually. Dubai Courts requires an MOJ-certified legal translation of non-Arabic documents, and ADJD requires a certified translator with licence card. The ADJD English Notary Services Bureau accepts some English documents without translation, but Arabic may still be needed later before another authority. A bilingual layout avoids both problems.
Four steps. First, the POA is drafted with its exact scope, in Arabic or bilingual Arabic–English. Second, every name is matched to the passport and Emirates ID. Third, you sign before the Notary Public, online where the transaction allows it or in person; we arrange this with our legal partner. Fourth, if the POA will be used abroad, it goes on to MOFA and the destination embassy. We handle all four in one file.
At Dubai Courts, a power of attorney costs AED 100 per party plus AED 20. Since 2 January 2026, Dubai private notaries charge AED 100 per party for e-registration, AED 100 per signature and AED 1,000 per visit. These official fees are paid at cost, on top of our translation and drafting.
Your original passport and Emirates ID, plus the documents your POA or contract refers to, such as a title deed or trade licence. At Dubai Courts, a person signing a POA with a passport only, without an Emirates ID, must attend in person. Send us your documents first and we confirm the list for your case.
No. The UAE is not a party to the Apostille Convention, so a notarised document for use abroad goes through MOFA attestation (AED 150 personal, AED 2,000 commercial) and then the destination country's embassy. We plan that chain into the same file.
Often. Online notarisation is available where the transaction allows it; some documents and ID situations require signing in person, which you can do at our legal partner office in DIFC or at our office. We tell you which option fits your document.
Our monthly legal packages, delivered with our legal partner, are Golden at AED 10,000, VIP at AED 15,000 and Diamond at AED 21,000. A notarized legal notice costs AED 1,500 in Golden, AED 750 in VIP, and is included in Diamond. SWLT translation and drafting start from AED 60 per page, and MOFA attestation, if needed, is AED 150 personal or AED 2,000 commercial.
